Dear Margo Cook,
I am writing to express my interest in the Pre-K teaching position at Spring of Life Early Learning Center. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Florida and bring a decade of experience working with young learners in elementary education.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation in early literacy, language development, and social-emotional learning. With ESOL and Reading Endorsements, I am well prepared to support children from diverse backgrounds and meet students at their individual developmental levels. I believe Pre-K is a critical time to foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
I value hands-on, developmentally appropriate instruction that encourages exploration, play, and positive social interaction. I am passionate about creating strong routines, supporting positive behavior, and building meaningful partnerships with families.
I am currently completing my Gifted Endorsement and am committed to continuous professional growth. I would be honored to bring my experience, patience, and enthusiasm to your Christ-centered program.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my background aligns with the mission of Spring of Life Early Learning Center.
Sincerely,
Nicole Kennedy
I believe that early childhood is a sacred and foundational season of life, where children are discovering not only the world around them, but also their sense of self, purpose, and belonging. As an educator, I view each child as uniquely created by God, deserving of patience, love, guidance, and encouragement as they grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
In a Christian preschool setting, I believe learning should be rooted in love, kindness, and respect, reflecting Christ’s teachings in both words and actions. I strive to create a nurturing and joyful classroom environment where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, make mistakes, and develop confidence. Through consistent routines, positive guidance, and clear expectations, children learn responsibility, empathy, and self-control.
I value developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and play. Young children learn best through exploration, meaningful interactions, and real-life connections. I intentionally support early language, literacy, and social skills while honoring each child’s individual pace of development.
Building strong partnerships with families is essential to a child’s success. I believe open communication and collaboration with parents help create consistency between home and school, allowing children to feel supported and secure.
Above all, my goal is to foster a love of learning while planting seeds of faith, compassion, and confidence that children will carry with them as they grow. I am honored to play a role in shaping young hearts and minds during this important stage of life.
