- Held primary case responsibility across Emergency + Critical Care, Surgery, and Internal Medicine Services

- Performed emergency procedures including thoracocentesis, laceration repairs, bandage and splint placements, urinary catheterization for unblocking, and nasogastric tube placements

• This is my current job that I complete while working around Veterinary School and my Master's Degree
• I monitor social media comments for all platforms of LeafHome and address customer service complaints and/or reviews across Yelp, Google, Trustpilot, etc
• It is a flexible position but gives me a lot of experience with customer service and communication

• I was the first ambassador for Veterinary Emergency Group at my vet school, RVC
• I promoted the company across campus and organized and held events throughout my entire third year of school
• This included organizing presentation and company events, Career fair positions, and answering any questions that students had about working with the company

• Assisted veterinarians while in room with restraining animals, providing and administering vaccines, and submitting background paperwork on clients
• Scrubbed into surgeries
• Worked full-time and double shifts through the pandemic when staffing was low
• Cleaned surgery and dental suites, as well as treatment areas
• Learned to recognize animal behavior and stress signals in a clinical setting as well as how to approach these situations in a way that is the least anxiety-inducing for the animal
• I continued to work with this practice during veterinary school and received a recommendation letter from one of the owners when applying for school as well

• I worked at this clinic on and off while I completed my Bachelor's degree
• Once I graduated, they hired me as a vet assistant at their clinic

- Learned how to balance school, two jobs, and my friends

- Developed communication skills and learned how to stay positive in a hectic environment

- Promoted the clothing line and motivated people to want a job there

- Promoted the clothing line and the benefits of a credit card

- Motivated customers to buy from the store

- Worked the cash register at checkout
