Additional Information

My brother was diagnosed with autism when he was two. My parents had an in-homes ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy up to 40 hours a week. Sometimes he would see up to three different therapists per day. They helped him work towards his goals such as talking and forming sentences correctly. Another one of his goals was to limit "bad behavior". At the end of the program, the therapists taught us how to use these skills to teach him. We were taught to redirect his bad behavior, and reward the good behavior. I was trained on discreet trial training.
