Nicole Palm

I have served in several different ministries at my church. I have been a member of the adult choir. I have been a Pre-School Director. I do music each summer during Vacation Bible School. I have worked in elementary school age Sunday School large group activities. I currently serve in our Children's Worship ministry. I also teach a class of adults with special needs.

I currently teach four and five year olds with special needs. My classroom is similar to a general education Pre-K classroom. In addition to working on behaviors, we learn academic, motor, language, communication, social, and self-help skills. I am responsible for creating and monitoring goals and benchmarks for my students. I also create and implement lesson plans, but modify them according to the individual needs of my students. I attend staff meetings and special education ARDS. I communicate with parents on a regular basis to help my students generalize skills between home and school.

I worked at Flips "on and off" during these years. I taught students from the earliest stages to team kids. I wrote lesson plans for the younger aged student classes. I taught beginning level team members and took teams to competitions.
