• Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 360 students (Westlake)
• Work with students individually and in small counseling groups upon parent, teacher, or self-referral to increase skill-building around academic, social-emotional, and college/career needs
• Coordinate crisis response and triage mental health referrals for Tier 3 students
• Connect families with community and local agencies for support with housing, mental health, and basic needs
• Collaborate with staff to improve student and school climate outcomes as a member of the Positive Behavioral Intervention Support (PBIS) Team, Leadership Team, and MTSS/CARE Team
• Provide monthly (and additional as requested) guidance curriculum lessons to all PK-5 classes aligned with American School Counselor Association Domains
• Partner with families to support academic progress and student wellbeing
• Supervised five different first year Counseling Trainees from University of San Francisco and UMass Global

• Maintained a diverse student caseload of 30 students to provide support in academic, social-emotional, and high school readiness
• Facilitated/co-facilitated multiple counseling groups: (social skills, identity, friendships, middle school to high school readiness)
• Collaborated and worked with families from students on my caseload to develop strategies and support plans that were culturally relevant and sensitive to needs

• Maintained a diverse individual caseload of approximately 30 students from 9-12th grades
• Evaluated student transcripts to ensure academic progress and recommend supports needed
• Collaborated with all school counselors to create support plans for specified students
• Created and delivered post-high school college and career presentations for 11th and 12th grade students
• Reviewed personal statements with senior grades
• Worked with Career Center/Counseling team to advise and assist students with college, scholarship, and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) applications
