Through my current role overseeing the stocking area, I have gained a deep appreciation for the importance of stocking in our inbound operations.
I plan to implement the successful methods I have utilized in my previous department to enhance our Units Per Hour (UPH) and ensure that all associates are proficient in the Average Weighted Inventory (AWI) for stocking tasks.
Collaborating closely with our peer inbound and receiving area management is vital in this process to ensure that stocking associates have access to high-quality freight and support whenever needed.
