  • Supervised up to 9 case managers and family service coordinators and provided guidance, support and on-going training within new systems used to assist and empower participants living in homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
  • Met with housing residents and landlords to answer questions, address concerns and clarify policies and procedures to ensure housing stability for program participants.
  • Oversaw housing plans and personal goals for 80+ participants to promote timely transition to permanent housing and appropriate usage of housing subsidies.
  • Maintained database of housing resources, landlords and management companies. Referred participants to appropriate services related to increasing income, maintaining their housing, securing future permanent housing opportunities
  • Managed 6 grant sources including HUD funded programs at the federal level and state funded programs. In charge of using Martus software to create budgets for these grants.
  • Licensed in HMIS (Homeless Management Information Systems)
  • Assessed and evaluated the needs of program participants using monitoring tools such as Critical Time Intervention and Coordinated Entry and Community Needs assessments.
  • Performed monthly one-on-one meetings with staff to discuss participant needs and praises, evaluate staff progress and ensure that staff performance was meeting grant expectations.
  • Arrange yearly refresher trainings for staff and management to include: Harm Reduction, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Mental Health First Aid, and more.
  • Hiring manager for all the positions in our Supportive Housing department. Reviewed resumes and applications, screened potential candidates by phone and then scheduled in-person interviews. Upon an offer and acceptance of a position, I was in charge of the majority of onboarding of the new hire including building access, equipment distribution and use, training in all programs, introduction to other department managers, etc.
