Proven problem-solver and effective communicator, demonstrated through my position at Bradford Ecumenical Home Inc., where I independently managed maintenance tasks and engaged positively with residents. Achieved an advanced score on the NOCTI skills test, showing my technical proficiency and teamwork capabilities. Looking to continuing my growth with American Refining Group and learning new skills.
Run machines to pack finished oil products. Continue to learn new aspects of the position and have passed the first test.
Checked maintenance logs in both buildings throughout the day and would go fix what was listed on the logs. This included items such as; patching and painting walls, changing out lights, fixing/replacing PTAC heating/cooling units, fixing broken doors, problem solving issues with heating/cooling or why something wasn't working properly in the kitchen, and yard maintenance. This position required independence and making sure that work was getting done without constant supervision.
Good communication skills were necessary as the residents that lived there enjoyed the conversation whether I was walking through the halls or fixing something within their apartment.
Stocked shelves. Greeted customers. Helped customers find items and answered questions. Cashed customers out. This was part of co-op through school and when they didn't have enough work I was unable to continue employment through them.
