
Responsible for overseeing the financial operations and integrity of the nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring Brianna’s legacy and supporting others affected by stage IV rhabdomyosarcoma and other pediatric cancers. This role manages budgeting, financial reporting, donations, and regulatory compliance to ensure transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of all funds. The Treasurer works closely with the Board of Directors to allocate resources toward patient support, awareness campaigns, and research initiatives, while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the organization meets all IRS and nonprofit reporting requirements.
Delivers Basic Life Support (BLS) tasks such as administering CPR, operating AEDs, providing oxygen therapy, bleeding control management, conducting patient assessments, administering BLS medications, ensuring safe transport of patients, maintaining clear communication with medical teams, and documenting precisely in electronic patient care systems.
Shadowed a PA during patient visits, observed exams and procedures, and learned how diagnoses are made, treatments are chosen, and care is documented in real clinical settings
Supported emergency medical services (EMS) training and field operations by assisting with the instruction of EMT students while gaining hands-on experience in pre-hospital care
Facilitated licensed EMTs and paramedics in providing Basic Life Support by preparing equipment, monitoring vital signs, administering approved BLS medications, supporting patient care during transport, and documenting clinical information under supervision.
