I have been in this industry for seven years. I’ve started at some of the most beautiful salons in South Florida. I’ve had to move and continue schooling to complete 1500hours. I’ve started over so many times, but I know I belong in this space . My drive is my number one strength, I do have to remind myself to listen and not take things personally, I am a good stylist and I care about detail and I know how to navigate a realistic expectation and someone’s dream. I was officially licensed in Massachusetts and I’m looking for a chair.
My first experience working on clients and providing services. As an assistant, I was expected to fold laundry, clean and greet customers. Every day I went beyond my job description and made connections with everyone who entered that salon. I made mistakes, but I was surrounded by a team that encouraged me, supported me and showed me what it takes to make it in this industry. I was provided education and training that I will use for the rest of my life. It’s about balance.
