- Created a backend SQL database using Microsoft Azure Data Studio to house Inspectional Data that was previously paper-based.
- Created a Python GUI for inspectors within the manufacturing facility for them to input data directly into the SQL database. Used the Kivy library to create the GUI and used the Buildozer tool to compile Android .apk files to enable the functionality of the GUI on Android devices.
- Tied the two together using the pyodbc library and mysqlconnector.
- Generated an additional $1500 per month by enabling the company to produce 5 additional rollers per month.
Data Analyst Intern

- Completed data cleaning and data validation of existing spreadsheets containing merchant Category and Sub-Category data using Pandas. This promoted robust data management platform, resulting in accurate data analysis and entry. Accurately managed a database of over 1000 merchants.
- Used MySQL to review files, records and other documents to obtain business information and key transactional data to ensure consistency in data entry and management.
- Developed Python script to weigh different types of merchant transactions on a risk scale depending on credentials and details of the merchant and transaction( eg. Location, IP address, Transaction amount, etc.).
- Conducted Hypothesis Testing using statistical inference to evaluate whether certain merchants were likely to commit fraud, or certain transactions were fraudulent. Represented these results using visualization tools such as matplob.lib and seaborn.
- Consolidated my research onto a Financial Dashboard using Tableau to present my work.
- ILearnt about the Pytorch library to develop an in place Regression based ML model that predicts fraudulent merchants. Model decides whether a loan will be permitted for a certain merchant or not.
