A. Develop and maintain effective systems and strategies, documents and procedures as needed to facilitate flow of
information between department managers and pricing in order to maintain an accurate and systematic oversight
of all product data files.
B. Create and maintain a system for all staff to communicate all pricing problems and the quick resolution of all
issues, including: regular and sale price, UPC/PLU incongruities, tax/food stamp status etc.
C. Ensure accuracy through continually improving systems and through regular accuracy/verification testing.
D. Ensure all promotional pricing is overseen accurately, efficiently and in accordance with start/end dates and
duration for all promotional events.
E. Ensure full working knowledge of POS system. Work with appropriate IT providers to ensure data base and
information security at all times and with appropriate back-up precautions. Advise Front End Manager of any
repair, replacement or upgrade needs.
F. Ensure all scales and related POS equipment are accurate and comply with all regulatory requirements.
G. Collaborate with department managers as necessary to ensure effective and efficient systems for addition,
subtraction or adjustments to the product mix. Ensure all changes in product mix are reflected accurately in the
POS database at all times.
H. Work with managers to ensure all regular and sale signs are accurate.

Oversee the processing of invoices with changes and additions as they pertain to cost and ensure invoices are
forwarded to accounting in a timely manner.
J. Provide PLU/price list for department specific items as requested.
K. Provide training to department staff and other designated people, the proper way to process a price change or
specific report.
L. Ensure adequate and knowledgeable back-up and succession planning are in place at all time in the event of a
planned or unplanned absence.
II. DATA ANALYSIS SERVICES
A. Ensure database entries are maintained in a uniform and prescribed manner in order to allow for best sorting and
analysis at all times.
B. Run routine product/margin reports as scheduled, as well as upon request by the sales department managers or
other buyer as needed in order to assist in analysis of margin, mix or category dynamics.
C. Continually update managers regarding scanning, pricing, concerns, successes, and verification results in order to
continually improve data accuracy and integrity.
D. Continually examine new software or new operational systems in order to maximize efficiency with regard to POS
system, pricing and analysis functions.
E. Continually assess new ways to provide data analysis support services to the organization that respond to arising
needs or that can help the organization meet its long-term goals.
F. Collaborate with finance office, branding team, or department managers as needed in order to continually improve
internal systems.
G. Provide GM, store operations manager or other designated managers training on the POS system as needed.
IV. LEADERSHIP
A. Serve as a member of the Store Operations Team, providing support to other team members and other
managers/staff throughout the co-op in order to meet the organization’s goals.
B. Commit to and adhere to all leadership standards for conduct, communication and professionalism.
C. Provide effective collaboration that fosters excellent communication, setting and monitoring of team goals and
strong planning processes.
D. Attend all management and/or organization meetings as requested. Present training on new topics, programs or
initiatives at team meetings or all-staff meetings as requested or as needed.
E. May be asked to provide significant support during any expansion in order to guarantee safe, accurate and secure
data management in any new configuration.
F. Perform other tasks assigned by the Front End Manager as needed.
G. Provide assistance at store level as needed.
