Creative director, project manager, architect, prop and scene construction, 2010 - Present.
Every autumn, Nikki and Her Husband, Scott wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to designing, constructing, and overseeing a team of sometimes 150 actors and support staff, most of whom are under 18 years old. This commitment extends until mid-November, after which they take time off to celebrate Thanksgiving with their family. Their responsibilities encompass various tasks, including designing and organizing the haunted house, coordinating with the fire department to ensure safety regulations are met, promoting the event, and recruiting volunteers.
In addition, Scott and Nikki have also contributed their expertise in planning and constructing various on-stage production scenes and props for shows like Sweeney Todd and Urinetown. Our unwavering commitment and contributions have made a lasting impact on the non-profit theater and the at-risk kids it serves.
