Outside Machinist/Mechanic

Summary

Outside Machinist with intermediate skills in Fleet Support Overhaul with about 2 -3 years experience on submarines and maintained a secret security clearance. I had worked on USS Helena (SSN-725) and USS Boise (SSN-764). Both are Los Angeles-class submarines. I'm looking to further my knowledge and skill sets in an apprenticeship program. Before this industry I was an automotive mechanic for 10+ years and grew up in automotive shops when I was younger. I still have a valid VA state inspector license given to me by Virginia State Police for doing class A inspections. Before that I worked at Norfolk International Airport (ORF) as a line technician refueling private jets, single engine and major airline jets. I have had construction experience as a masonry helper, plumber helper and carpet installer helper in the construction business for a short period of time. Committed to doing the job the correct way the first time. Available 40+ hours per week, including weekends and evenings.
