• Conducted detailed assessments of critically ill patients, monitoring hemodynamic status, ventilator settings, and other vital parameters under RN supervision.
• Gained hands-on experience with advanced equipment, including arterial lines and central venous catheters, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Observed and assisted in the titration of vasoactive medications, sedatives, and analgesics under the guidance of experienced ICU nurses.

PACE (Parents and Children Excel): PACE is a program dedicated to addressing disparities in education outcomes for children of color. It provides tailored support services to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for diverse racial backgrounds.

My Responsibilities as a Volunteer:

• Mentoring and Tutoring: Provide academic mentoring and tutoring support to children enrolled in the program.
• Family Support Services: Assist families in accessing resources in the community.
• Community Engagement: Participate in community events to promote program awareness and encourage community involvement.
• Advocacy: Support advocacy efforts for policy changes aimed at reducing educational disparities for children of color.
• Program Support: Assist in fundraising efforts to support program operations.

• Administered medications via oral, IV, and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
• Monitored patient vital signs, reporting any changes to experienced nursing staff.
