writing, reading and exploring anywhere.

I took two years away from nursing to finish writing my memoir as a hospice nurse. In 2015 it was published and I went on a six month cross-country book tour. I was on two well-known NPR programs, taught in many hospitals and was a feature speaker in professional medical gatherings. The book is From sun to Sun: A Hospice Nurse Reflects on the Art of Dying.

I love to travel and just returned from ten days in Europe.

I love living in the city and getting lost and finding new-to-me gardens and parks. I love the history of the city too.
