NINA MORALES

Pasadena,TX

Summary

I graduated from The University of Houston Clear Lake with a master’s degree in counseling, with a concentration in clinical mental health December of 2020. Since passing the National Counseling Exam on November 22, 2022 I am actively searching for a supervisor to over see the post graduate hours necessary to become a fully licensed counselor in the state of Texas. Prospective goals would be to focus on broadening personal academic knowledge in the field of clinical psychology and continuing to work with a diverse group of individuals with varying needs and backgrounds. A target goal is to provide trauma based therapies to individuals suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic illnesses/chronic pain, and grief counseling via EMDR and/or psychedelic assisted therapies once fully licensed and after receiving the appropriate credentials for these specific therapeutic modalities. Ultimately, I have a desire to work with first responders, in addictions, and potentially in the jail/prison systems.
