Communication Technician
Job Responsibilities:
• Routed and installed fiber optic cables for Inside Plant (ISP).
• Performed cable terminations, including RJ45 connectors and Keystone jacks.
• Pulled and installed a variety of cables, including Cat6, Cat6A, and copper cables (18/2, 22/2), to designated locations.
• Gained hands-on experience with fiber splicing and managing fibers within cassettes.
• Worked in colo rooms to pull pre-terminated fiber cables, connect them to cassettes, and ensure proper setup.
• Conducted rack and stack tasks in colo and IDF rooms, installing equipment such as servers, network devices, and switches.
