Nirvika Dhanasri

I am currently a sophomore journalism student. In high school, I was a part of the weekly broadcast and gained experience editing and writing scripts using Premiere Pro. In my junior year, I started my personal blog to write about myself and my interests, such as literature, film, and anime. At UT, I honed my writing and visual journalism skills with the TSTV channel Keep Austin. I aspire to be a freelance video and print journalist for both big and small publications like The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Juggernaut, Vice and Vox. Interested in art and culture journalism and also environmental and social justice journalism.
