Volunteering clinical practice in the infectious disease Unit of Medicine Department at the Larkin Community Hospital with Dr. Hussain Hussain. MD.
Two weeks shadowing Dr. Merline Benny, MD, in the Pediatric (Neonatology) ICU at Jackson Health Care System, a public hospital in Miami, FL, from June 10 to June 25, 2025.
Worked with Dr. Tina on TUNEL staining of mouse hearts. Took pictures of heart fluorescence staining using a confocal microscope.
Performed cell culturing of primary smooth muscle and conducted cell counting. Learned about different centrifugal forces used for isolating cellular organelles.

- Received “Article of the Year award” for a publication published in the journal “Neurochemistry International.” This award was given for the best paper published in 2023-2024 in the field of hepatic encephalopathy by the International Society of Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism (ISHEN), a prestigious organization founded by many renowned scientists and Nobel laureates.
