Dedicated to making a positive impact through education, outreach, and teamwork.
My involvement with Kent State University’s Black United Students (BUS) has been central to my campus leadership journey. I began as a Community Affairs Committee Member during the 2023–2024 academic year, where I helped organize volunteer events and promoted student involvement in service-based initiatives. Building on that experience, I was elected Director of Community Affairs for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 terms. In this role, I lead community outreach programs, manage event budgets, and strengthen partnerships between BUS and local organizations. During the 2025–2026 school year, I also joined the Marketing Committee, where I contribute to designing promotional materials and strategies that enhance student engagement.
Outside of BUS, I’ve expanded my leadership experience through other campus roles. As a K/T Mentor during the 2024–2025 academic year, I supported first-year students by helping them transition into college life and develop strong academic habits. Currently, I serve as a Teacher Assistant at the Child Development Center, assisting with classroom management, activity planning, and child development support. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong foundation in event planning, mentorship, and community engagement that continues to guide my leadership on campus.
