• Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients with sepsis, ARDS, multi-organ failure, and complex comorbidities.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and advanced airway support.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips, sedatives, insulin infusions, and other high-alert IV medications.
• Perform frequent hemodynamic, respiratory, and neurological assessments to detect and respond to patient deterioration.

• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams during daily rounds.
• Implement evidence-based protocols for sepsis management, glycemic control, and ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding disease process, prognosis, and end-of-life care.
• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill neurological patients including those with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, aneurysms, spinal cord injuries, and post-neurosurgical cases.
• Perform frequent neuro assessments (GCS, cranial nerves, pupil checks, NIH stroke scale) and promptly recognize subtle changes in neurological status.
•Manage patients with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors, external ventricular drains (EVDs), lumbar drains, and ventriculostomies; titrate therapies to maintain cerebral perfusion.
•Administer and titrate vasoactive, sedative, and hyperosmolar medications (e.g., mannitol, hypertonic saline, propofol, norepinephrine) to maintain hemodynamic and neuro stability.
•Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and advanced airway devices for patients with compromised neurological function.
•Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams during rounds to optimize patient outcomes.
• Care for post-thrombectomy and post-craniotomy patients, monitoring for complications such as hemorrhage, vasospasm, or increased ICP.
• Utilize continuous EEG monitoring to detect seizures and communicate findings to neurology.
• Provide post-operative care for patients receiving tPA or other advanced stroke interventions.
• Educate patients and families on disease process, prognosis, and rehabilitation needs with compassion and clarity.
• Implement evidence-based protocols for seizure precautions, stroke bundles, and ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention.
• Serve as patient advocate, ensuring safety, dignity, and family involvement in critical care decision-making.

Metropolitan Ministries/Meals on Wheels, Team Member, Tampa, FL, 01/01/20, Current, I volunteer in several non-profit health organizations like metropolitan ministries and Meals on Wheels of Tampa where we served the community food and clothes and provided them with sanitary products like tissue, soaps, pads, etc. I also work closely with metropolitan ministry shelters to refer the homeless to this organization and other free homeless shelters in Hillsborough County.
