After switching from a full-time truck driver to a full-time heavy equipment operator I have gained additional experience operating everything from excavators and mini excavators to skid steers, haul trucks, wheel loaders, dozers(d5t and d8r), grinders, crushers, conveyor mantainance, Etc. As a truck driver for this company I also was occasionally responsible for loading myself with fill using medium size excavators and hauling topsoil and other materials to customers. I have experience operating excavators and skid steers since I was a child. Other roles include loading trucks(quadaxles and semis) with various different materials ranging from stone to foundry coke, to performing routine and emergency maintenance, welding and repair, mechanical repair on the heavy equiptment, handling day-to-day operations of both the gravel pit and Landscape production yard. There are many many other things such as a familiarity with nearly every gravel pit and Quarry in southern Wisconsin as well as being current msha trained. I will also be cdl eligible again at the end of November.

As a full-time truck driver for this company I hauled sand and gravel as well as primarily spent Brewers grain to Farms over long distances Within Wisconsin and Illinois. I was also responsible for loading myself with Phil as well as Stone when necessary.

As a truck driver for Gator Transit my primary responsibility was to be a truck driver, hauling aggregate from mines to concrete plants, I also took on the role of loader operator both for loading concrete plant feeder bins as well as dump trucks whenever necessary. During the winter months for all of my driving jobs I worked in the truck shop as an assistant mechanic.
