Affiliations

  • Cross Country: Cross has taught collaboration and teamwork on a team level. I never had much running skill, but I now lead a team of nearly 40 individuals as we work towards both common and individual goals.
  • Track and Field: Track has taught teamwork on a much larger scale, and the ability to work with people you may never know personally. It has taught discipline and self-sacrifice for a team.
  • St. Anne Youth Group: Sharing personal experience on a deeper level through this group has created deep connections and grown faith. Whether it be through construction projects, game nights, or our weekly Bible studies, I've developed personal connection with my faith and others'.
  • St. Anne Choir: The choir emphasizes singing, a mostly personal facet of our lives, and putting it on display along with the choir for hundreds to hear. Through the choir, I have developed a sense of comradery and tenacity with a group that refuses to quit.
  • Feed My Starving Children: Through this organization, I've worked alongside thousands of people to pack food for the less fortunate. We've packed thousands of pounds of food collaboratively for starving families and communities in almost every continent.
  • Game Club: Our small game club has created long-term relationships with other members. Through collaborative storytelling, I've learned to put my ideas and wants aside to promote each individual having the ability to tell their own story through tabletop games.
  • Band: For years, band has allowed me to grow my love for music that began from an early age. Whether it be through the grade level band or the auditioned jazz band, we've always finished at the top through hard work. Stressing equality for each part in the music, we have room for no individual to put her or himself above the group.
