My name is Noah Favre. I'm a 2 1/2 year pipe fitter by trade at ingalls shipbuilding. I have been working primarily on DDG destroyers during my career, and I have learned a great deal about how this program among most other ships operate. I've learned about the operational systems of pipes, and how much of importance they are to making the ship fully operational and livable. I have only fit pipe for right under a year, and have been testing pipes via Hydro, static, and air since I left the fitting side of my craft. Since leaving my craft, I decided to join into test and trials as an operator inside the ship. I have worked and been able to operate multiple systems throughout, ensuring that they are fully ready for ship service. I have had the opportunity to work on almost every single different piping system in the ships. I've learned how to read a blueprint while also navigating the ship expertly. I am an extremely hard worker, and I do not quit. I get a job, and I don't stop until the job is done. I pay attention to details, and I take heavy pride in my work. If I don't know something I will ask questions, or seek the right source to gain my knowledge in order to complete my tasks. I learn fast, and with my already broad knowledge of pipe and system functionality, im confident I can learn anything else given to me. I hope to progress my career to a more advanced placement in my next endeavor.
I conduct test of operation to make sure my specified systems are fully functioning and operational within the test procedures given.
Ensure all my systems equipment(valves, piping, electrical components, pumps, hardware) is installed and complete for proper testing.
