I conduct test of operation to make sure my specified systems are fully functioning and operational within the test procedures given.

Ensure all my systems equipment(valves, piping, electrical components, pumps, hardware) is installed and complete for proper testing.

• Read blueprints to identify and locate where my system of piping starts and finishes.
• Identify problems with existing installations by inspecting pipes visually.
• Navigate my way around the ship, or unit to help assist in locating my system assigned to test.
• Hydro, static, or air test my assigned system as per Test Procedure through my Test Inspection Report.
• Check for leaks, dents, or any other major discrepancies in the piping that would hinder the system from being acceptable and operational.
• Repair and restore all known discrepancies within the piping, so that the system can be operational when finished being fitted and tested.

• Maintained records of work performed for future reference purposes.
• Install, maintain, and repair pipes on firemain, AFFF, freshwater/potable water, all air systems ie: LP air, CAL air, starter air, bleed air, ship service air, etc.., counter measure wash down, plumbing/weather deck drains, VCHT, fuel fill&transfer, JP5 service&stripping, oily waste drains, water mist sprinklers, seawater cooling, and chilled water.
