I joined my school orchestra back in 9th grade and I had zero experience with how to play an instrument. Orchestra was totally new to me, I spent the first half of the school year learning how to play the Viola. I soon found myself learning how to play the Viola after-school and playing this instrument was slowly growing on me and I began to love playing in the Orchestra. After my first concert in December of that school year, I continued to excel in the Viola and I would soon find my self gravitating towards other instruments such as the Cello and the Guitar.Orchestra is now something that I want to continue beyond high-school and into college. I give thanks to my fellow classmates and to my Orchestra teacher Ms. Hammill for being patient with me and helping to foster my love for Orchestra.
