In my role as the lead software developer with the Eco Tracker Team, I spearheaded a three-person team in creating EcoTracker, an intuitive website/app. This platform is designed to help users track their carbon emissions and comprehend their environmental impact. My focus was mainly on backend development, using Python Flask, where I meticulously set up and managed user data with MongoDB. Additionally, I crafted a robust encryption algorithm to ensure the security of user login details.

My involvement extended beyond the backend; I also contributed to the frontend development. One of my significant tasks was enhancing the user experience on the homepage, ensuring it was not only engaging but also informative about our product. My approach was to maintain a balance between technical efficiency and user-friendliness.

An essential aspect of my role was to oversee the development of features A, B, and C, ensuring their seamless integration into the overall project. I was dedicated to making sure that every piece of code was modular and easily reusable, aiming for efficiency and sustainability in our development process. This project was a blend of technical skill and a commitment to environmental awareness, making EcoTracker a tool that users can rely on to understand their personal contribution to global carbon emissions.

Over a few months, I worked as a mobile developer on a project for a Skyline Chili app, which we developed as part of a school assignment for our local Skyline restaurant. Our main focus was using Kotlin to create a user-friendly interface, enabling customers to easily place orders through the app and then pick them up from the store. My specific responsibilities included implementing credit card encryption to ensure transaction security and safeguarding user data within the system for enhanced privacy and protection.
