I also program/install and maintain our substation communications including network switches,cellular routers, network routers, and fiber optic cabling, including the termination/testing of our fiber system. I have approximately 14 years experience with substations/ transmission systems/ SCADA. I have been apart of several mobile transformer installations from start to finish. This includes, performing a TTR of the mobile, meggering, installation, and the energization of the mobile. Also, I have replaced several regulators in the field including the safe removal of the existing unit by the means of sending the regulator to neutral, and verifying the neutral position using a neutral detector, installing a new regulator, and then programming the regulator control. I have been to several relay training classes including I-44 SEL. Interactive training in Branson Missouri. As well as several meter schools conducted at the University of Arkansas and carrier classes for Powercomm in New Jersey.

My duties included electrical wiring of commercial and residential buildings. My role was to read schematics for the installation of conduit, AC panels, wiring, receptacles, switches, switch-gear and all other electrical devices by the standards set fourth in the National Electric Code. I was solely responsible for several large projects to include but not limited to: The addition to a plant in Paragould Arkansas the produces concrete finishing machinery. The project required an additional 2000 amp service utilizing parallel 500 MCM runs in addition to thousands of feet of conduit and wire. The project took approximately 7 months and several hundreds of hours to complete.
