Detail-oriented professional with a focus on aviation maintenance. Handles assembly, disassembly, and repairs of aircraft components while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship and promoting a safe work environment.
I am proficient in the repair and fabrication of complex aircraft structural components demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge for the physical properties and working characteristics of various metal such as aluminum, titanium and stainless steel. I have skills in reading and interpreting intricate blueprints and technical orders to help co-workers perform precision layouts using shop mathematics including triangulation and radial line development. I am proficient in operating a wide range of specialized equipment such as shears, brakes, and pneumatic rivet guns which help manufacture parts with tight tolerances while ensuring all assemblies meet strict safety and flight readiness standards.. I am very well versed in grinders, drill presses, dimpling machines and fastening techniques including various rivet types such as high shear blind and heat treated rivets. I've also had to use shop math to calculate curves , angles, and pitch for pattern and template layouts for repairs on spoilers and ailerons.
At AMCR I perform several maintenance tasks. Perform mixing and applying sealant on MESA inlets on the outer barrel and around the lip. Performed proper use of orbital sanding on Boeing 737 thrust reverser, mesa inlets, flaps, spoilers, etc. Removed and installed hi-loks on Boeing 737 inlet and performed drilling out rivets for an AD that needed to be accomplished. Apply alodine to the lip of the MESA inlets. I have experience in sand blasting different parts from inlets, flaps, ailerons, and other components.
