  • Provide care for exotic animals such as Tigers, Lions, Caracals, Servals, Bears, and Hyenas.
  • Using keys, I shift animals from different holding areas. From their habitats, to night houses, and dens.
  • Intensive diet preparation, lawn care, habitat construction, and maintenance.
  • Habitat and den cleaning.
  • Attention to changes in behavior of the animals.
  • Assisting in moving tigers via roll cages to and from an on-site hospital.
  • Assist in veterinary exams on sedated large carnivores and necropsies.

Field Experience

Intern, SAI farm, 05/01/22, 08/31/22, Refurbished and cleaned facilites and adjacent farmland., Installed fencing and tilled patches of land for crops. Identified and removed invasive plant species, as well as cut and cleaned new trails on the property. 

Madagascar research, 08/15/2018, 10/08/2018. Identifying and measuring trees, including canopy cover, DBH, and height. Identifying an assortment of native birds, insects, trees, and other wildlife. Recording sampling and behavioral data for endangered primate populations while actively on the move.
