Prior to working in food, I worked and helped manage for four years in product sales for a high-end candy shop on Bainbridge Island during high school. Sure, it wasn't selling a vehicle, but more importantly, I fell in love with helping customers, pushing the crew in fun, enthusiastic ways, breaking them out of their shells to merely enjoy, and excel in the sales and teamwork field.
I'd say I've naturally got it down! I've become a friendly face for customers inside and outside the work dome. For me. It's all about genuine connection and genuine enthusiasm for the role.
