Prior to working in food, I worked and helped manage for four years in product sales for a high-end candy shop on Bainbridge Island during high school. Sure, it wasn't selling a vehicle, but more importantly, I fell in love with helping customers, pushing the crew in fun, enthusiastic ways, breaking them out of their shells to merely enjoy, and excel in the sales and teamwork field.
I'd say I've naturally got it down! I've become a friendly face for customers inside and outside the work dome. For me. It's all about genuine connection and genuine enthusiasm for the role. I'm an eager learner and a very collaborative person. I'd be more than honored to be given the opportunity to learn and work alongside your growing, determined team of individuals.
In the restaurant, I played many roles alongside direct food work, to help out the team.
This job not only taught me food skills, but, more importantly to me. It taught me hustle, teamwork, team bonding, self-sufficiency, and self-efficiency. Working at Bruciato allowed me to better understand time management and adapt to many different characters, to say it politely.
