I have been an ED Tech since I was 19 starting during the covid pandemic, where I experienced a baptism by fire into healthcare, and discovered the calling to become a nurse. Since then I have learned and experienced so much. I am Cross trained as Emergency Department Assisstant, and Monitor tech. I've Precepted new ED Techs, and have closely collaborated with ED Leadership and other Staff during time of acute distress in the ED. Maintained a 3.5 GPA in Nursing School while working part time hours. School has taught me so much, and has influenced and expanded how I conduct patient care, and advocate for patients.

Emergency Department Technician
6 Years 2 Months- Emergency Department Technician: Six years of Experience. Proficient In 12 Lead EKG's, ortho device applications, and associated patient education, vital signs measurement, Setting up and assisting provider procedures, including Laceration repair, Chest Tube, and Central Lines etc, Collaborating with ED TL's, House Shift, and other anxcillary departments and functions to support patient care, and advocacy in the ED
Cross-trained as Emergency Department Assistant who is responsible for all patient admissions, provider consults, and higher level of care transfers in addition to screening every phone call that the ED recieves. Cross Trained as Monitor Tech, who ensures patient safety on telemetry via escalation of dangerous rhythms and vital sign trends. .
EMT/Driver
2 Months- Experienced transporting patients between facilities, ensuring comfort and safety during transport, ensuring patient advocacy. Providing reports to the receiving facility and staff.
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
11 Months- Surveillance of patrons, preventative water safety measures with inclusion of in water rescue techniques/ skills and the instruction and care of children ages 4-17 in water safety and competence, in addition to observing and practicing of facility deep clean and facility close and open.

Currently enrolled in Nursing ADN Program at Victor Valley College, Will graduate in December 2026. Planning on pursuing BSN and other nursing education post graduation.
