My name is Noe Ramirez I am you diesel mechanic/ trailer mechanic I have worked on engines since I was 12 years old I joined the professional industry when I was 16 years old I started working part time in Laredo Texas as mobile mechanic apprentice, learned so much from these older mechanics at first it was overwhelming but as I went through it by my 6th month I was doing repairs all on my own on semi trucks and trailers, I worked for that mobile mechanic company for 2 years until l was the legal age to work in a mechanic shop named Alamo City Truck Service, I really loved it there it was amazing seeing how much more knowledge I was able to learn I started working on tank trailers something I wasn't familiar with but it was pretty easy having the guys support and guide me through, by my second month I was already doing 5 year tank tests on my own. I Got a really great job opportunity with a construction company named Napco precast they needed a mechanic for their 50 ton and 70 ton mi jack cranes, at first I was afraid to leave Alamo City Truck Service I was scared of trying something new but then it made me realize if I never left the mobile mechanic shop I would have never gotten the job at Alamo City Truck Service with such greats mechanics in an amazing environment. So I jumped into the crew at Napco precast, yes it was overwhelming at first working on those massive cranes but I would stare at them for hours looking at every component by my 2nd week I was able to fully
understand how those machines work, it was amazing seeing all it takes was for me to stop for a second and observe and think. I have all my tools from metric to standard sockets and wrenches from harbor freight to snap on, l use the tools that work, I have all the way up to small tools to work on automotive to bigger tools for commercial.l am young are ready to expand my skills and knowledge and learn even more.
This is where I started, at first I started off as an apprentice doing preventative maintenance, I then starting doing hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting by my 2nd month working there.
