• This is my second travel assignment, and I received an extension totaling 28 weeks of the contract.
• Claimed to be the third busiest ER in the USA; fact-check with Google.
• Higher acuity, but the staff at night made it 100% tolerable. Plenty of float nurses.
• Treated a lot of code sepsis, neuro, and modified trauma.

• First travel assignment: It was challenging coming from a community hospital to a level 3 trauma hospital, but I learned that the ratio is 1:4 compared to the previous ratio of 1:6.
• Learned how to use Epic EMR.
• Mostly in fast track/triage, plenty of triaging, IV placement and IV meds, orals, IM's and d/c.

• Administered oral, IV and intra-muscular medications and monitored patient reactions.

• Conducted system analysis and testing to identify and resolve technical issues or inefficiencies.
