Accomplishments

I wrote a Children's book published in 2024.

“I Hate The Rain” was written for children in the BIPOC community who struggle with mental health. I feel that as an author it is critically important for mental health to become more normalized in the BIPOC community.

Only by creating an environment where children feel comfortable with their emotions and thoughts can we assist them in truly seeing the beauty of life.

Not only have I written this book for children who look like me today, but I’ve written this as a love letter to my younger self, I wish that I had something like this back then so that I could understand that it is okay to not be okay and that with love and time, we can overcome anything.
