Ever since I was a kid I have always worked well with people and have had an unmistakable talent for building quick and strong relations with people of all backgrounds. For years my peers as well as teachers have recommended I try out standup comedy, which I have been doing for a little over a year now. I have performed in front of large crowds at some of Boston's most prestigious comedy clubs, which has built upon my already strong public speaking skills.
Working as an electrician while being a full-time college student has taught me many valuable skills that make me unique to other candidates applying for this position. After the passing of my father, my mother was out of work for approximately 18 months. Due to this, I had no choice but to learn how to manage my time effectively and juggle the difficult balance between school and working to help provide for myself and my family. Working as an electrician in the city of Boston, I have built strong professional relationships with people of all types of different backgrounds.
Working electrical has also taught me a lot about working hard. Whether it's sweating while fixing the light in a hot, dark, windowless room in the middle of July. Or feeding wire on the air-lift 20 feet in the air, with the wind cutting through my jacket in February. I have always been persistent in completing what I have to do no matter the challenges that are thrown at me and my team.
I strongly believe my personality, ability to work with others, and outstanding work ethic makes me a very strong candidate for this position. I look forward to improving my skills to be the most successful salesman I could possibly be.
