Summary

A lot of what I do usually revolves around removal of cutting air, efficiency, tool placement for efficiency, the right tool for the right material. I set up Doosan lathes, swiss machines 4 axis Robodrill's, not much experience with 5-axis, but I have gained some knowledge in the last couple years working here. I know probably too much about deburring.... we all know that's the worst part. I use grinders, I can use a tape, I can use micrometers, caliper's, digital or not, groove mics, hole mics, most inspection equipment, Nikon, Micro-height, and Keyence. Overall, I grab a folder from the floor, I grab the material from the garage, and I program it if needed, in the most efficient and material-saving way possible. I setup my own machines, run my own parts, most my parts run overnight in the Doosan and Swiss with an automatic bar loader. I inspect my own parts, some parts require a first article every morning. I do all of those, 10 pcs critical dims report... etc.. I also manage my own chips, I sweep or wipe down my machines when I am feeling dry on work. I know how to clean out a coolant tank, I clean parts, and I fill lube BEFORE the alarm comes on, typical maintenance on machines.. I know how to replace high pressure coolant pump filters from cool blaster devices. I can install guide bushing in Swiss or lather or remove it following specific instructions... If there is a problem I ask for help or research in the manual or online, but I do not waste time and take advantage of not knowing how to do something so I lay it off for the next day. I am a go getter I just want to solve problems and be a solution. I love working with people.... I really know how to get the tough old dogs laughing and in the mood to get stuff done. Been working with old men for years and I have learned so many things from them, unforgettable wisdom about so many things. My mind is like a train once I get a good idea rolling there is NO stopping it, my drive is unmatchable and my determination speaks for itself.... I am in the process of acquiring my pilots license and I like to spend my afternoons and early mornings out in the woods looking for a big buck to put in the freezer... Not big on gloating or showing off, I like to keep to myself and I prefer to stay away from drama... nobody got time for that. I test myself with G-code flashcards for fun.
