• Coordinates with the manager and other work leaders to establish priorities and schedules the workload to satisfy production needs.
• Lead & perform mechanical disassembly / reassembly of generator rotors in high quality and timely fashion (i.e., removal and installation of coupling, fans, retaining rings, hubs, wedges, blocking, re-wedge, rewind and high voltage bushing box).
• Effectively recognize, predict, document, potential generator failures.
• Successfully managed (10+ winders), selection, training, and performance appraisal.
• Identified communicated engineering issues. Review BOM / DWG.
• Expertise an inspection, testing, full voltage test run of electric Generators ( meggers insulation resistance megameters tester, megometer, surge tester and hipot tester)
• Rigged and lifted generator fields and other components -up to 100 tons- using overhead cranes. Worked on various types of generator stator and rotors including; natural gas, coal, steam, nuclear, hydroelectric, and cogeneration-powered units.

• Depth experience with generator rewinds including liquid cooled rewinds, conventionally cooled bars, multi turn coils and inner gas cooled bars.
• Rewinds winding and lamination repaired and re wedges.
• Performed coil-winding operations on a variety of coils and for different applications, size, design, etc., on small to medium coils.
• Set-up winding machines and related equipment for size and type of wire, number of turns, type and size of insulation, etc.
• Experience in hydro generator restocking and complete servicing of hydro units, including repair modifications such as the removal and installation of pole pieces on hydro rotors.
