Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Conduct intake assessments, create treatment plans, and maintained progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to implement interventions that promote student success and well being. Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution and behavioral management within the school environment. Deliver psychoeducational and classroom guidance on topics such as coping skills, stress management, self-esteem, and healthy relationships. Support school-wide initiatives related to mental health, positive behavior interventions, and student wellness programs. Participate in supervision meetings with a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor to review cases and strengthen clinical skills. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to state, district, and LPC Board ethical standards.

• Provide Social/Emotional Education and interventions particularly regarding: David’s Law, Regulation Skills, Zen Zone, effective positive coping strategies, problem solving, conflict resolution, etc. using tools such as circles.
• Work in conjunction with the school counselors and campus MTSS team to provide Tier II and Tier III social emotional supports.
• Systematically use campus data such as discipline referrals to provide targeted social/emotional education in the areas of Self Awareness, Self-Management, Relationship Skills, Responsible Decision Making and Social Awareness.
• Provide faculty, staff and community with Professional Development opportunities regarding social, emotional, career/college education.
• Work closely with special populations such as foster students, McKinney Vento, EB students to ensure academic and social emotional success to include monthly check-ins.
• Assist students in SAC with goal setting, graduation requirement education and regulation skills.
• Assist with problem processing model for First Offender Program.
• Help to establish a college, career, military rich environment and school culture.
• Provide self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making education to students and their families.
• Consult with school counselors, parents, teachers, administrators and other relevant individuals to enhance and assess student progress.

• Attend professional development trainings, workshops, in-service training and conferences related to social work and or school counseling functions.
