Have over 20 years of nursing experience, having worked in ICU for 3 years and labor/delivery, postpartum and well baby nursery for 18 years.

Experience in different settings anywhere from rural hospital to teaching facility.

• Assisted in the delivery of newborns, providing guidance and support to mothers during labor and delivery.
• Provided postpartum care for new mothers, including assessments, education and counseling.
• Monitored fetal heart rate patterns using electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
• Identified complications during labor or delivery requiring medical attention or intervention.
• Initiated breastfeeding techniques upon request from mother and family member.
• Guided new mothers on recovery and infant care to promote and support maternal and family adaptation.
• Discharged mothers and babies after patiently guiding parents through at-home care and follow-up medical care.
