In charge of all winemaking operations and tasks. Sanitation and cleanliness in all winemaking areas, including food prep areas where charcuterie boards are made, and the lab area. Managing health inspections. Winemaking supply ordering. Bottling supply ordering. Keeping inventory, making Microsoft Excel reports, and performing biannual audits with the state of Florida DBPR. Managing employees in winemaking areas. Operating all winemaking equipment, and maintaining it. Bottling wine, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the bottling line. Lab testing of all wine and cider in-house to check for spoilage, pH, titratable acidity, alcohol percentage, volatile acidity, and making additions to wines and ciders. Forklift operator. Pulling and organizing distributor orders. Keeping track of all liquid coming in and out of the winery.

Helped with the sanitation of the canning line, operating the canning line, and canning beer. Assisted in the lab area with some lab testing. I worked directly with the owner to help manage people and scheduling. Closing and sanitation of all areas in the brewery where alcohol and food are served and consumed. Affiliations

  • Active in Scouting volunteering my time in many roles for training scout leaders in the wood badge corporate style training course. It is a 5 day hands on course and each leader taking the course has to come up with 5 ticket goals to help better scouting in different ways. they have 18 months to complete these goals and only after that, they will receive their tope neckerchief and beads for wood badge course completion. This is the highest training you can receive as a scout leader for packs and troops. Training staff is picked by each course director and after i took the course i was picked for 3 different roles as staff for these courses. i was a troop guide, assistant senior patrol leader and senior patrol leader.

Accomplishments

  • Received over 200 medals for my wines and ciders at different wine and cider competitions including as gold medals for my Pedaler's hard apple cider, and Pedaler's hopped up hard apple cider. One at the Florida Brewers Guild competition, and one at the US Open Cider Championship
