- Education/training materials were co-developed with Dr. Lee. I was instrumental in supporting the clinical process, training operating room staff and clinical support for the Acessa Procedure. This device was developed to treat uterine fibroids with pain and excessive uterine bleeding, in the operating room, The device treated uterine fibroids with RF ablation under ultrasound guidance.
- I supported operating room cases under Dr. Bruce Lee's expertise and training until surgeons and staff are competent and confident with the transabdominal uterine ablation device procedure.
- Traveled to Mexico with the initial group of physicians for live cases until competence and confidence with equipment and ablation device was achieved,
- I co-developed clinical workflow for support staff and Halt Medical staff.
- With Dr. Lee's guidance, I organized the educational program for U.S. physicians training (Mexico) for surgical procedure education and live patient cases under Dr. Lee.
- Five U.S. physicians attended the real time training with patients until confident and competent.
- In 2014 it was necessary for me to return to Connecticut for personal reasons, ending my Halt Medical term.
