Serve the county of Los Angeles by providing the primary 911 service in the county and providing the best BLS medical care to every patient.

• Fire Suppression: Respond to fires in homes, buildings, vehicles, and wildlands.
• Rescue Operations: Save people (and sometimes animals) from dangerous situations—burning buildings, car crashes, water rescues, etc.
• Medical Aid: Provide basic care when responding to medical aids).
• Duties: Station duties and community outreach, where we would read books to kids or attend special events explaining our job to the public.

Responsibilities combine patient care, technical tasks, and helping medical staff stay efficient.

Provide basic BLS medical care to patients and transport them to the appropriate facility.
