I am in my second year of college majoring in Education to become a teacher at the University of Rutgers. I am reaching for the five year teaching program and to end with my masters and bachelor's degree. I would also like to further my career by being educated in the Special Education program. I want to become a teacher in the program for students from K-6.
The Paraprofessional Substitute supports classroom teachers and staff in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 3-10. This role involves assisting with daily instructional activities, supporting students with special needs, and providing one-on-one or small-group assistance as needed. The Paraprofessional Substitute should exhibit patience, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring each student has the resources and support to engage fully in learning experiences.
