I worked as a shop hand using machinery to press molds onto sucker rods for drilling rigs, there I learned how to operate the machines and to load the rods onto a semi truck with a loader. That was when oil crashed in Vernal and was let go due to financial reasons for the company.
A year later I was fortunate enough to find a job for a crane company and learned how to rig cranes for oilfield locations. I learned JSA paperwork, managed meetings for my company as well as many other oilfield company’s to excel at on site safety meetings before handling large tasks. I also helped install transformers for the solar panel project in Fillmore Utah. I was then offered a job to multitask 3 pipeline yards between Panhandle Oilfield with XTO Energy, I also had to retrieve paperwork for all of the oilfield company’s we provided work for. There I learned how to manage and book keep inventory, keep track for all incoming and outgoing equipment. I then had to submit all my paperwork to cooperate via email and never had an issue with my work. Sadly my job came to an end when Covid started.
