• Record Keeping: Maintain and update records of residents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Data Entry: Input information into databases and spreadsheets related to residents’ profiles, legal cases, and other relevant data
• Documentation: Prepare and process various documents, including court orders, release forms, and incident reports
• Communication: Correspond with legal authorities, law enforcement, and other relevant parties to facilitate information exchange
• Clerical Support: Provide general clerical support such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing office supplies
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies
• Court Liaison: Assist in coordinating resident court appearances, including scheduling, transportation, and documentation
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Observe residents’ behavior during meal pass, commissary, medication pass, and clothing change out
• Document visual sight checks conducted at cell doors by detention staff
• Call sight checks in to camera operations
• Call central control for emergency assistance when needed
• Submit recreation time out report
• Document tier, cell(s) that came out for recreation
• Document in razor logbook, residents requesting razors, i.e., name, time, and cell number
• Look up basic information for residents
• Document description of the food served to residents and the food temperature in the logbooks
• Document all traffic entering and exiting each pod including residents leaving and returning from work duties
• Document residents’ housing reassignment, new residents, residents’ releases, mail passed out, and residents taken out of pod for court, arraignments, and criminal interviews
• Monitor suicidal residents’ activity
• Document in logbooks sight checks for suicidal residents withing 15-minute increments
• Fill out suicidal residents’ behavior on 15-minute observation sheets
• Fill out resident daily activity log for special housing residents
• File incidental reports as needed
• Keep pod offices clean and remove paperwork and trash at the end of each shift
• Assist Detention Officers as needed with basic, daily functions
