So as a guide dog puppy raiser I did the following, and then some (it'd be a forever list)

• Promoted public awareness about service dogs by participating in community events and engaging with the public during outings.
• Enhanced puppy socialization by exposing them to various environments and stimuli.
• Fostered independence in puppies by gradually introducing crate training and alone time exercises for future success as working dogs.
• Housed puppies that needed additional support when their raisers were not able to give that additional support and assessed their behavior problems to make an appropriate support plan.
• Applied problem-solving skills to address challenging behaviors or setbacks in a puppy''s development effectively and efficiently.
• Utilized excellent organizational abilities to manage schedules such as feeding times, exercise routines, grooming sessions, and veterinary appointments for multiple puppies concurrently raised over time.
• Mentored new Puppy Raisers by sharing knowledge, providing support, and offering guidance throughout the process of raising a service dog candidate.
• Established strong relationships with local businesses to create a welcoming environment for service dogs in training during public outings.

I Dog sit for people in my neighborhood and community that often have dogs that need more than the average pet, or have behavior problems that make it more difficult to find a dog sitter. In doing these dog sits I've done the following,

• Administered medications as required, following specific instructions from pet owners or veterinarians.
• Established trusting relationships with clients through consistent communication and reliability.
• Assisted in training sessions, reinforcing positive behaviors and commands during care routines.
• Exercised animals regularly with walks and rigorous play activities.
• Reduced client anxiety regarding pet separation during vacations or work-related travel by providing regular photo updates showcasing animals'' well-being and happiness.
• Offered grooming services to pets, including bathing and brushing, to maintain their hygiene and appearance.
• Enhanced pets' emotional wellbeing by providing companionship and affection, reducing anxiety during their owners' absence.

My senior year of High School I was an Environmental Science class Assistant. As an assistant I did the following,

• Helped with grading assignments and tests, providing constructive feedback to students based on results.
• Supported the lead teacher in developing curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with state standards and educational objectives.
• Increased student engagement with dynamic lesson plans designed to accommodate diverse learning styles.

I walk dogs for family friends and neighbors who have dogs that may be more difficult to walk due to reactivity and medical problems. When I walk dogs I would,

• Know what triggers the dog has, and do my best to avoid things that may potentially cause problems.
• Have the dog practice commands on a walk to regain focus.
• Keep a positive energy and reinforcement going to make the walk more fun.
• Exercise the dog each to their own comfort level so that they can feel and be successful.

I had multiple volunteer jobs within guide dogs, this one being that I was the assistant 101 trainer. My job was to

• Meet with new volunteers and help them understand the skills they were going to learn by doing demonstrations with myself and a puppy.
• Watch the trainer give the new volunteers a task to try, and if someone is struggling I go and help them 1-1.
• Set up and take down the equipment that we use.
• Served as a positive role model for new volunteers by demonstrating professionalism, connecting with the puppy, and commitment and focus to understanding the puppy and having the puppy understand me.
