Current role: I created and manage the Energy Solutions Department.
We focus on insulation options for residential and light commercial applications.
The goal is to educate our clients and help there homes be more energy efficient and comfortable. I hire and train all crew members, and I mold them to fit our teams needs. I handle every single lead we receive by 1st reaching out to the clients, asking specific questions on there expectations and needs, set up in our software invoices, leads, and sold jobs. I run sales leads as needed and follow up with clients daily. I’ve trained all my team members how to present options and build proposals. I schedule them on leads based on what makes sense logistically and I prep there leads by building value before they arrive and sometimes price conditioning. I also control profit margins and check profitability on every job based on materials that were used. I control overtime hours and our payroll weekly. We are usually between 18-25% labor on most weeks. We use some excel templates for our payroll, commissions, proposals, and profit margins.
I keep track of materials increases and adjust prices as needed. I talk with different vendors to negotiate better materials cost. I get every single invoice from vendors to keep track of what we are purchasing and being charged for. I coordinate vehicle maintenance needs, materials deliveries, insulation equipment repairs and maintenance, and keep track of new products we can offer.
We were trained on Service Titan and Successware and currently we are using successware.
They also use me for assisting the hvac department manager as needed. Handling upset clients, technical support, training, and helping them quote certain repairs and insulation options while onsite.
Currently I wear many hats for RS Andrews and continue to strive to keep learning and being successful!!
My daily role was repairing, maintaining, sales of new equipment, and installing of a variety of hvac equipment and different seer ratings on residential and commercial systems.
