• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as toileting, feeding, walking, and grooming, taking vital signs and updating the nurse
• Maintaining patient safety through 1:1 continuous
  observation, hourly rounding on patients, timely answering of call lights within 2 minutes to ensure patient cares and needs are met and not delayed, and cleaning rooms for the next TCU patients
• Assisting nurses with lab specimen collection like stool cultures and, encouraging clients to self-support themselves.

Cared for 3 to 4 patients alongside a registered nurse. Assuming care
of one patient under supervision of a licensed nurse and doing all
assessments, medication administration, charting and giving reports.

Using video monitoring at the nursing station to monitor clients
•

Assisting the nurse with patient activities of daily living such as
toileting, grooming, taking vitals

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new and returning rheumatology patients

Review referrals, prior records, lab results, and imaging reports

Provide patient education on rheumatologic conditions, treatment plans, and medications

Collaborate closely with rheumatologists and interdisciplinary team members
