• In this role I have the privilege of leading multidisciplinary team members to conduct front end studies and evaluations utilizing forecasts to get the most competitive concept for Shell's oil and gas projects
• As a pipeline specialist, I also carry out route evaluations, pipeline material selection and evaluations which has resulted in over $10m in savings while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (like DOT regulations)
• Over the course of the past few years, I have helped achieve key project investment decisions for various Shell onshore tie-back and asset optimization projects
• Successfully used manage project risks skills to mitigate potential issues including non-technical risks

• Delivered technical services to the asset teams from asset integrity management to project to asset transfers
• Participated in project technical and safety reviews including HAZOP reviews and HSE Case reviews
• Prepared contract documents, tender evaluation and contracts award for oil and gas construction and maintenance services
• Also led multiple project works including underwater survey inspections for 8 Bende and 18X123km MOL pipelines and mechanical maintenance services on several key facilities
• Led the development of updated maintenance strategies using the Shell Preventive Maintenance Library (PML) and maintenance standards aligned with international standards and regulatory requirements (like DOT regulations)
• Carried out focused coaching and mentorship of young talents resulting in two successful exits from Shell Graduate Program (SGP)

Developed maintenance strategies using the Shell Preventive Maintenance Library (PML) and maintenance standards, which are used to drive maintenance programs and schedules executed by the maintenance crew on site. This included the development of the Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS) for the Kashagan project, which was aligned with ASME and NACE standards.

· Supervised and inspected the modification, installation and commissioning of mechanical static systems including plant piping, pipelines and flow lines used in processing and transportation for the giant Kashagan field.

· Project management involving stakeholder engagements, project planning (materials sourcing, cost and schedules management), work execution, reports and close out on the facilities for the Kashagan pipelines (Emergency repairs system project, pigs supply).

· Supervised technicians, technologists and other discipline engineers and review/ approve designs, calculations, cost estimates, deviations, and management of change.

· Prepared contract documents and evaluated tenders for oil and gas construction and maintenance services covering mechanical static equipment's including facilities and pipelines.

· Participated in the Project to Asset transfer activities as Pipeline discipline engineer.

• Over the course of about 9 years, I played different pipeline roles such as Pipeline Project Engineers, Pipeline Operations Engineer ensuring that engineering requirements are met as we successfully delivered multiple pipeline projects
• Executed pipeline projects such as 10x 11km and (2) 12x 11.4km Utorogu and Benisede projects as project engineer and site manager
• Conducted studies of major additions and/or upgrades to existing pipeline facilities
• Carried out post integrity inspection repairs and modifications to multiple oil and gas pipeline facilities (including campaign restorations)
• Performed concept designs of pipeline systems including system hydraulics, sizing, wall thickness calculations and ROW evaluations
• Conducted economic analysis of new pipeline facilities
• Interface with operating organizations, engineering, and project management team
• Championed Management of Change (MOC) process for pipeline and facilities
• Participated in pipeline commissioning activities including cleaning, hydrostatic pressure testing and handover to assets
• I coordinated construction planning, material resources, progress reporting, staff scheduling and stakeholders' engagements to achieve on-time, under-budget completion of projects
• Participated and led in preparation of contract documents, tender evaluations and contract awards for oil and gas construction and maintenance services such as the Integrated Pipeline Maintenance contract in SPDC, Nigeria
• Managed project scope development, strategic sourcing and field execution for multiple projects
• Project engineer for portfolio brown field repairs, upgrade and maintenance on over 700 km of pipelines with varying sizes (12 to 28inches) which cost over $300m and restored circa 200kbopd to Shell Nigeria production
• This involved managing multiple projects, monitoring project costs while ensuring adequate process safety management
• Coordinated the Management of Change (MOC) process for several projects which involved significant modification of existing facilities while maintaining operability within regulatory limits
• Skilled in contractor selection with participation in the contract strategy development, pre-qualification, and technical evaluation of contractors
